The Start of Something New
Thanks to two of my friends Darnell and Fabian, I’ve finally taken the dive into starting my own website for photography. It’s been something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, and I’m glad it’s finally happening. Better late than never, as they say.
Photography for me has always been something other people do. I wouldn’t have considered myself a real photographer until a few years ago when I hauled a DSLR along a six day mountain trek in Nepal on the glimmer of hope that I might capture something better than with my cellphone.

What I didn’t realize was that the thrill of taking a perfect picture would multiply the enjoyment I would normally get from a trip like this, and I was hooked.
This was only the beginning. The more time I spent with my camera, the more I was driven to push myself to higher heights, to greater lengths, and to sharper focus, to line up that perfect photo that would speak the way words never could. I don’t know when I started calling myself a photographer, probably after I started getting asked if I sold my prints of my photos, which brings me to today.
I don’t know what photo you’ll love; if theres one thing I’ve learned it’s that I never know what photos of mine people will like best. Photography has always been personal to me, so I’ll always keep taking photos of what interest me most. But I do know that I’ll never go anywhere without my lumpy camera bag weighing me down. The chance to capture a one-in-a-lifetime shot is always worth the hassle.

I’m happy to say that I’ve been lucky as a photographer. I think as far as once-in-a-lifetime photos go, I’ve had quite a few. I’ll post them here from time to time, so subscribe to my page so you don’t miss out! Some photos of mine are very special to me, and I’m only going to do a limited run on prints for those. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
I’m really excited about this new project, and I hope I can turn that excitement into photos that you’ll love. If you feel like supporting my work, send me a message when you purchase a print or canvass and let me know why you chose that one or two (or three! or five!). I’m always looking to improve what I do. In the end it’s not about the money to me, it’s about the magic of creation.
